Requirements and Qualifications:
- Performs 1st piece, in process, and final inspections on close tolerance machined parts
- Uses various gaging methods (CMM, comparator, hand tools) to measure parts
- Identifies and controls non-conforming product in accordance with procedures.
- Maintains equipment and work environment in good order.
- Reviews purchase orders for quality requirements
- Communicates effectively within department and with other departments
At least one year of manufacturing experience. (Aerospace a plus)
Machining familiarity a plus
Ability to interpret Engineering drawings, blueprints, or other technical documents.
Experience with manual / electronic gaging equipment (mics, calipers, air gages)
CMM operation (Measuremax, CMM Manager, a plus)
Possess basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Data entry)
High School degree or equivalent
Rate: 21$/hr plus 100% paid medical
